Does anyone here have any strange addictions? Weird non-edible stuff they like to eat?
For example, i like to chew (not consume though) foam rubber (you know the stuff they make sofas out of). I have a very strong addiction to it. My sister loved to eat wet red sand (the kind you get in Eastern Nigeria). And I once knew a girl who used to scrape chalk from the walls and eat it.
ANyone else brave enough to share theirs??
Answer:
I sometimes chew on the clear plastic part that holds the tag to the shirt. I'll chew on it until it's broken then I'll throw it away, but a few times here and there I'd accidentaly eat it
I like to chew on my water bottle, that neat crunching sound :D
my mother in law used to eat struck matches, and her doctor said it was due to lack of sulphur in her body, and my daughter, when she was a baby used to eat baby powder, every time i put it on her she would stick her hands in it and suck it off her hands, and 1 time i left the bottle next to her and answered phone, when i looked back she had poured half the contents of the bottle on herself and was eating it, i called poison control and they said she would be fine, but after that i kept it away from her reach, and she would sometimes get in her diaper bag and take out the wipes and eat those, so i had to watch her close around that too. and she's 6 now and i still catch her eating paper towels from time to time.
i try not to eat the inedible. although i have been known to sometimes ingest my mother's cooking. but rarely digest.
I think every person in the world has a favorite thing to chew and/or suck on (non-perverted). I think that it helps stimulate something in the brain and helps to relax. I like to chew on the plastic round thing that is on the top of a soda bottle once you open it. That small little round thing?
I have a habit of gently chewing on the fat part of my index finger for no apparent reason. I don't hurt myself, just gently chew.
