meditate right before bed about what it is you want to dream about and repeat what it is out loud at least 12 times.
Dreams are naturally spirtually, inspired and cannot happen in an half state mind. No one can make a dream happen it comes without notice.
Try to avoid things that you don't want to see and try to see more of what you like to see. I learned in Health one year hat a dream is made up of what you see and mental pictures you have. So try and also think good things before you go to bed.
Brain is in a relaxed state when we dream. but I have gone to bed thinking about something pleasant and end up dreaming about what I was thinking about before I fell asleep.
