In this world, many people just accept what they hear on the news or what is said by the government, all these people are just like cattle, following and believing exactly what they are told... why is it just because Al Gore(An Inconvenient Truth) or Michael Moore (Bowling for Columbine) make a movie not stating all facts for and against, the majority of people just go along with it. Despite the fact that the theory that global warming being caused by us, has no evidence to prove or disprove this, but as top world leading officials say it is us, why is it such a large number of people just go along with it, and wont take any other opinion(I know people can have a closed mind view of things)? Have these people never heard of the word propaganda? If we are shown a certain way,should we mabey not follow and stop and think about it? This problem also comes down to menial everyday things.

I think that this is human nature. For example, every second, the brain experiences hundreds of stimuli, yet you only conscienciously process two or three. It is simply impossible to process all of the stimuli; the actual numbers subconscience vs. conscience can be debated. It is exhausting to figure out everything about everything. So, we prioritize. And most of the time, it is the quick fix that wins; we'd rather fix what is right in front of us so we can see the fruits of our (limited) efforts. Lazy selfishness? Maybe. Inevitable? Probably.
But it all goes to how we were raised as a generation. If you look back to the Enlightenment period of history, things were different. That was a generation based off of principles, not quick fixes to every day problems.
So, what do we do now?
Reason people are being like cattles are because they are only traveling with the flow.
Over populated
Turn off your talk radio and come with me to a concert, you'll feel like part of the herd when they throw open the gates. We can all moo in unison when the band hits the stage. Got milk?
