I get homesick every day (when I'm at work...)
I do sometimes... But once I'm back home I sometimes think... gosh I dont want to be here! LOL! we want what we cant have...
I get sick thinking about having to go home, does that count?
No but when I'm away from home i basically miss it

Yeah. Also if people at home are gone. Because otherwise it's simply an empty house, you know? There's a nice quote that sums up everything in "home" way instead of just a "house".

It's true, though. And home is where comfort is, where people love you no matter what. It's reassuring.
It depends what You cal home.. if is Your home USA, than you can feel homesick outside in another\her country or another city..
My home is this Earth, so I can feel homesick on another planet, or Moon..:-)
I think when the place you're at isn't as good or better than the home you've left behind, then homesickness sets in.
I do sometimes. Because my husband is in the military it's sometimes hard to move and adjust to being in a new place without any family or friends. For the most part though, I learn to adjust. When I do go back to visit friends and family it usually only takes a couple of days before I'm ready to leave and return to my own family.
