In short he's trying to put my mind into the same miserable state
Why would he say things like that? How can he hope to get into a relationship with me by doing so? What is his intention by doing so

His confidence is low. In showing you the things that may be negative in your life, he's hoping you'll join him in his pity pot to comfort him in all his sorrow (or vice versa.) Maybe he's hoping that you'll see how much "better off" you'd be with him. He probably isn't worth your time. Be with someone who finds joy in your happiness and relishes in your accomplishments! :)
some guys try to make you insecure to lower your self esteem, so that you can be easier to get to bed when your all depressed.
he don't sound good for you
i agree, he doesn't sound positive or even good for you.
if a man really cared about you, he would make sure you're happy, and make you smile if something was wrong. and not make you feel miserable. i'm not sure what his intentions are by saying the things he's been saying to you, but i know this much, honey: get rid of him! just tell him how you feel, it's never good to have that kind of negativity around.
