When does being on the computer become compulsive?
When have you crossed the border that your hobby is becoming a nessesity, when is being on the computer rather compulsive then a choice?
Answer:
A couple of signs which might indicate that being on the computer is entering the realm of "compulsive:"
Does being on the computer interfere with your day-to-day activities? You mentioned that you may have missed some opportunities. Have you also neglected doing things that needed to be done as a result of spending time on the computer? Has it interfered with relationships in your life or with your job? Those may be signs that your relationship with your computer is interfering with other aspects of your life.
Also, if you spend time away from the computer, does it cause you unease? Do you feel anxious or sad or otherwise upset if you are away from the computer? What would happen if you took a day off? Would it be unpleasant or would it be an interesting break? Again, if you feel "compelled" to stay involved with the computer, you are moving toward a more problematic relationship.
It sounds as if you are questioning your time spent with the computer and that's probably a good sign. You are recognizing that it could become a problem. If you answer "no" to all those questions, then maybe it's not anything to worry about.
Good luck.
maybe your adicted to it...i have the same problem...i cant get off it...you should just stop with your habit to addicted to the computer...you can be blind or other serious eye injury or get dizzy, death,or even faint
