How do you deal with perfectionism?

Answer:
I have known for a long time I am a control (freak) person.
I didn't want to be and I tried to "behave" but it was tough. I have been improving for a few years. However, it was when my youngest was helping me with something, I dont even remember what now. When he said" I know, I know it needs to be 'PERFECT' ',I knew that I was reflecting my views on to my kids, and I NEVER want them to feel inadaquate, or not good enough. It was at that moment things started to change. Dont get me wrong stuff still really bugs me. But I no longer refold my underware if someone happens to fold for me. I no longer (completely) rearrange the dishwasher if someone else loads it for me. And now I will wait till people leave to fix the things they move. I do still change other peoples toilet paper around. I am but a work in progress. I just realized that my preferences should not effect other people especially when it could hurt the ones I love.
with antagonism
It's something difficult but you can totally deal with it.
Everyone used to tease me about being a "prefectionist"
because I liked everything done a certain way. To
prove them wrong I just decided that once i did something,
and that something was not wrong but didn't meet my
standards, i would just leave it like that. After all it wasn't
going to hurt anyone.
I ignore it. I have enough confidence in my ability to make decisions. Perfection does not exist. Perfectionists are really very insecure, and use structure to validate their position. They are really very fearful and unhappy.
jus let it run its course. after all, the end result will be perfect!
.always remember that ,no one is perfect , people in every walk of live go about live doing there best to get by in live by hook or by crook its called survival , some are better than other at getting by in live etc hiding the truth is one way of doing it pretending to be something you not etc living a lie is another way to making people think another person is perfect no one breathing is perfect , so there,s no such thing as a perfectionism, whatever you do in life do it well and you will be ok .
