What things might i discuss and action in my supervision, to help me cope with my thoughts and feelings abuse?
Answer:
your question really wasn't clear to me, Are you feeling abused? Or being abused? If you are being abused talk to anybody that will listen! What kind of supervision are you under? If it just that you are feeling abused, then talk to the person that makes you feel this way. Wish I could be of more help. but like I said your question really didn't make things clear for me.
I'm not sure but i'm starring this question as i would like to know the answers too.
I have had counselling, but could never get to that part.
be a bit more specific Maxie mate please . are you talking about your reactions to seeing abuse in others?
if i got you right counselling is the way forward
If you trust your supervisor, you can start anywhere - if it were me, I'd start with whatever is most on my heart.
If not, how soon can you change your supervisor? Or, if that is tied to your job and not possible, find a trustable colleague?
Just stand up i for once in your life and be a man, a real one and say NO!
Supervision isn't primarily for counselling so if you think and feel as you say then you should ask your supervisor to refer you to Occupational Health where you can access expert help.
