Is having a obsession a good idea or a bad idea.?

Technically, the definition of an "obsession" is always bad. To be obsessed means going beyond normal affection for someone or something. It would translate to having difficulty functioning, foregoing usual daily activities just to be with the person or to do something.
Nowadays, people mistake obsession with passion. But passion tends to loop towards positive impact. Well, at least 60% of the time, i suppose.
Be passionate about life, but not obsessed by its little details.
Having an obsession is not a matter of choice, as in "good/bad idea." You just develop them due to some flaw in your thinking pattern. Generally they turn out to be bad though.

I think a obsession in cleaning should always be viewed as good and never as a illness and always be exploited lol only because i hate housework and i am joking
