Does the weather affect your mood? How?

Hi! I am doing a project for school and I am wondering what moods you feel in different seasons. Or just if you feel gloomy when its rainy, or happy when its snowing, ect. Please help this is due in three days =[. Thanks!

Answer:
Yes, the weather does effect your mood. THat is why alaska has the highest depression rate. Alaska has 6 full months of darkness. Supposedly the suns rays increases the developement of endorphens in the brain and endorphens tend to make you "happy". Without the suns rays, some people have difficulty thriving. Some plants react the same way
when its rainy i feel like it is a waste of my life because you have to sit around inside and do nothing
I get a little sad when there is little sunlight and it's cold outside. I love being outside so I Hate winter, it's cold where I live in the winter time. I love sunshine and warm weather. It makes me feel better.
Whenever there is a change in air pressure, I sometimes get really bad migranes and have to double up on my Topamax, my prescription migrane medicine. Other than that, it doesn't really bother me. =) I love it when it rains.except when I have to drive in it, and have to deal with other drivers who don't know how to drive in the rain.
Well, for me personaly i love tha rain and whenever it is sunny. When it is snowing or cold i am not like "GOD I HATE LIFE" but i find myself having a move negative attitude because it isn't the weather i WANT it to be. When it rains i just feel...pure? And sun is kind of a lifestyle more than a weather condition. Ever noticed people in California tend to be more easygoing? It's the sun i tell you! Haha. Good luck witht he paper :]
I'm not the "norm" and I actually enjoy cold snowy days.

If you're doing a paper about this topic, you may want to look into something called Seasonal Affect Disorder (SAD).
It's a disorder that causes depression due to the change of seasons (depression sets in during dark, cloudy weather) and is treated by light therapy.
It's very interesting and would be a great addition to your paper on this topic. Good Luck :)
Usually, I feel happy when the sun is shining, and it is warm out. I don't necessarily feel sad when it is cloudy or gloomy, just not as good as I feel when it is nice out. It has to do with the amount of light there is. High amounts of light tend to make people feel more cheerfull than low amounts of light.
I like rain, and when its amazingly hot and sunny in the summer. rain just makes me wanna take a walk and it jsut generally makes me happy, and hot summer days just make you wanna.have a bbq or something haha
I love rainy days, and I love dark days in fall and winter. Too much sunlight tends to blind me and make me cranky. Summer is the worst, I hate the heat and humidity. I'll take the cool dark weather any day!!
