How can our beliefs, interest, principles affect our personality?

Answer:
well, if your beliefs and morals are positive and what you believe in and what you follow shows you to be nice and happy, that can make your personality nice and happy. what you are interested, if healthy, can also affect your personality. i mean, if you are interested in healthy hobbies, you might be on a better track or maybe more mellow and pleasing to be around. if you are interested in drugs or something like that, that may affect your personality in a bad way, making you do things that are mean and bad. and principles goes with beliefs.
Your personality is basically the sum of your consistent patterns of behaviour, thinking and feeling. So it is not so much that these things affect your personality, as it is that they are part of your personality.
