How to deal with envious/jealous people?
Answer:
Simply eliminate them from your life. You have better things to concern yourself with and what others think of you is really none of your business and should NOT be your concern.
Live by that and life will be grand... Been there done that !!

Why would you make them feel more envy?? To feel better about yourself??
You ignore them. You don't torture people for your own self aggrandisement.
I would try to befriend them.why are they jealous, and of what?.do they envy you because you have more material things, or have achieved a certain status?
Maybe they just really need a friend to help them...and I feel sure that you are not flaunting are you?
Please consider all the options, if you are not able to get through to the person, at least you tried.then you will just have to remove yourself from the picture and ignore them.

Never try to make an envious person more so because it is easily done. If you cannot get away from this person then diffuse them and make it a habit to tell them they would not want to be you. Never boast or show happy pictures or new clothes off around them. They have their button and I would certainly not push it. Envy can take many cruel forms.
