Help with tolerance?

How do I become tolerant without hurting myself and others?

Answer:
Patience is a virtue.
I would love to help but cannot figure out how being tolerant would hurt you or others? Surely intolerance is the one that causes pain?
try to walk in their shoes and see how it might be like if you were not tolerant to them?!
always think on this
your rights * any right that you can imagine
finish or stop where the other individuals right begin or start
Be more specific. How would you hurt yourself or others? Are you a violent impatient person? You may need anger management, you may need to see a therapist, or you may need meds. Heck, you may need all three (like me). Talk to a therapist or psychiatrist, they can reccomend options that may work for you. But be careful not to get put on narcotics, they just keep you going back.
Think about your own faults. There are things about you that others have a difficult time with. Ask someone close to you what things about you are annoying.

I heard a story once. I don't remember where it came from, but it is something like ... A lot of people on a bus. It is totally quiet and peaceful. A man and his kids get on the bus. They create a total disruption. One man asks him to control the kids. The father replies, I'm sorry. We just left the hospital. My wife and their mother just died. I just don't know what to say to them right now. Anyway, the response changes the perspective of the first man, and he doesn't mind the children so much anymore.
