I'm 41 and I have had quite of few loved ones pass away. I always keep them in my heart so part of them are always with you. And it is true time does heal wounds,
Yes, I have had close people pass away and sometimes it feels as if you lost a part of yourself. It is very upsetting but you have to remember the good times that you had with the person. Even after 6 years of losing the person, I still feel as if I can call the person up and talk to her. It makes me very sad sometimes, but I always think of the wonderful times we had together. Time cannot heal all wounds, just keep the memories strong and you will be fine.
He is in my heart and will always be in my heart. Looking back, I feel my life stopped and am sorry for that now. It's one of those "what if" questions that will never be answered and too late now - it's been almost 30 years. Life goes on...my heart aches that I still think of him and still ask "what if". What if he hadn't died, what if I had met someone sweet, kind and loving...you see...what if.
