Have you read "The Secret"? What is it about. Do you agree with it?
I heard it was all about positive focus but some doctors said a little negativity is also good because it will keep you in perspective.
Answer:
I am still reading it..."what you put out there you get back", "like attracts like"..very much like Karma. It states that we are the master of our thoughts. Therefore if you send out or program thoughts of $$ that $$ will come your way. It does work.
I shall try thanks
It's not really about positivity, although feeling good is part of it. "The Secret" says the same thing about negativity -- a little bit of it is good because it gives you contrast -- if you can see what you don't want, it helps you understand what you do want and what you want to change.
What "The Secret" really says is that you can attract what you want, or get it a little faster, if you make an effort to focus mainly on what you want. If you follow the method in "The Secret," you spend very little time worrying or complaining, and that gives you more time to focus on where you're going in life.
I think this is important because I think many people -- probably men more than women -- are trying to get what they want entirely by controlling the world and anticipating situations as much as they can. Attraction is also a way to get what you want, and this is not just about being an attractive person, but also about living a life that's consistent with what you want to come to you. My favorite example (not from the book) is if you're single and you want to start dating, clear off the passenger seat in your car. Then you're ready to drive someone somewhere, and in my experience, when you're ready for something to happen, it happens a lot faster. If the world has always told you to go out and work and make things happen, to get in people's faces and put your shoulder to the grindstone, and you've never thought about how to attract anything or anyone to you, then you're not approaching life in a balanced way and you really need the kind of thinking that "The Secret" is about.
It's an enjoyable book to read even if you don't agree with everything in it, and I recommend it if you're curious about this kind of thing.
