Does mind over matter?

I believe it mind does have more influence over matter. But you have to be strong willed. For instance people that are told they have a disease start having symptoms or if someone is prescribed placebos it "cures" their illness. The mind can be influenced, although it's hard to influence your own mind, i think it is possible... someone can push the pawn further now!
Yes always mind over matter. My mom got real sick from her stressful worrying and negative thoughts on life...she was traumatized with all the deaths in her life she was divorced at an early age and lost two husbands after she remarried again two more times to death and illness my Mom has gone through hell and back and from her nerves she got really sick......now she is better her mindset is better.....She has controlled her mind and thoughts to think more positive now and she is doing a lot better.........
