If I only do things for purpose and reason, what is this?
At work yes I had lots of interaction purely business and work related as it deemed needed, I had learned and achieve things by my self, I do thing in patterns and almost on same routine, not sociable- is this also some level of autism?

..It's good to be goal and task oriented. That's how to get things done and be successful.
But you can overdo any strength, and then it becomes a weakness. This is not the best way to be with friends. With friends, there is no goal or purpose except to share, enjoy experiences together, trust and do things for each other. There's a time to knuckle down and work hard. But there's also a time to relax and have fun. You need both to have a healthy, balanced life.
You said you don't feel empty despite being alone, but it seems you feel there is something wrong by asking this questions, if your behavior or feeling have some level of autism. You see sometimes gut feeling reveal things. If you feel there is need to socialize, then go. They say people are basically party animals. Follow your instinct. Sometimes its OK to work without a routine or a pattern. It destroy boredom
