I had a vivid, strange and freaky dream last night. Pls interpret.?

PLS READ DETAILS!!:
Last night I had a strange vivid dream where I was talking to a plant and it was talking back like we were friends. During our converstation, the plant stopped talking as a mouse was trying to get inside the soil in the plant. I tried to chase the mouse away and in the process it suddenly turned into this vicious white cat. I tried to control the white cat by pinning it down with my foot while it was trying to bite me. The cat suddenly somehow jumped up while I was trying to pin it down so in response I went and kicked it. I then woke up because I had jerked my leg really hard. It was really freaky and my heart was pounding so fast when I woke up. In reality I hate cats and find them creepy.

Pls interpret as I feel that this dream is trying to tell me something due to the strong reaction I got from it.
Pls interpret in terms of what my subconscious is trying to tell me (not how my dreams are foretelling the future-i dont believe in that stuff)

Answer:
Okay well I'm in psychology, so here is my guess...

It's obvious to me that talking to this plant was important to you. That's why you wanted to chase the mouse away, and you wanted to control the cat that was trying to get to the plant. So you need to ask yourself - what, or who in your life, do you feel the need to talk to and what barriers (e.g. mice or cats) are getting in your way? You may feel out of control in the situation, and that's why you woke up once the cat ran away. The situation in your life may not have been resolved yet.
well, if this is a REAL dream then it has to do with environmental activism were the plant represents the environment and the mouse represents society, and the cat represents big business, maybe?
If you know what you and the plant were talking about it may be helpful... anyways, im no psychologist but mabey its trying to tell you that someone close to you (aka the plant) is being attacked (probally someone is insulting the person and its getting to them) but you dont interpret them as much of a theat (because they are a mouse in your eyes (which you may see as weak)) but when you confront the mouse then you realize that they are in fact not at all what they seemed like to you. If that didnt make too much sense then think of the mouse as being a friend or random person who is insulting your friend who you confront and realize that they are not actually a friend at all.

Hope it helps
My guesses (and these are pure guesses; I don't claim to be able to interpret dreams! This is just fun for me)

Plant = your trust, or your sense of powerlessness especially when you blindly trust; a peaceful innocence
Mouse = a suspicion you have, something you don't want to believe but really do, not necessarily of something bad - but something that will disillusion you and make you change
Cat = your terror of facing this situation; the cat is change

Point of dream = face your fear, and surrender your innocence.
I think that the plant symbolized your life and that the mouse was how you feel in your life. The mouse is a weak creature and when it turned into the cat (which is the natural predator of the mouse) it symbolized you trying to be stronger. You then became how others percieve you and you tried to stomp on the cat ( you feel that others are holding you back)...so you are playing both sides of the coin in this interpretation. Maybe you resent having to become the predator and the strong character that it represents. Are you having a promotion coming up at work soon? or perhaps you are having to take certain steps to ensure a good place at a college? This is what I think your dream is about.
Too many carnival rides. And, perhaps, too little celary in your diet.
you must see a doctor
