What is the capacity of a human brain?
Answer:
only a small amount of the brain is used, but old information is stored in the other part, so your brains capacity is huge. its capacity for memories is unlimited.
it is nearly infinite and if you read books for the rest of your life you could not use up the capacity of the human brain. however it does have limits and can only retain short term memory for so long if it is not used. same thing goes for long term memory. if you do not use some of the information in your long term memory and do not operate on it then eventually it will fade away. however it is a very vague question to ask about the capacity of the human brain, and i think that you should rewrite the question in more concise and intelligent form and maybe you will be able to get a few more replies.
based on some of the questions here, not all that much
There are two schools of thought; the first is that it has enormous capacity but eventually it would be filled up and memories would be lost to make room for new ones. But another theory - quantum physics type stuff that gives me a headache just to look at - suggests that it could be infinite.
So who knows? I guess we just don't know for sure yet.
nuclear physics to terrorism
i'm not sure of the specific size but i've heard in a symposium that in our whole lifetime, only 2% of the whole brain capacity is used. now if in that 2% of the brain, we think we know a lot, what more if we can use the whole 100% capacity of the brain?
About 1 liter
