Which would you kill?
Do you think whether something is ugly or beautiful affects your answer or is it easier to kill something ugly, why?

I would kill the roach, mainly because if I have to kill a roach it means that it is in my home, and any bug in my house is gross. Butterflies are outside creatures, and mind their own business so I don't mind them. It really has nothing to do with the beauty of the bug, but the fact that the roaches will infest my kitchen if not dealt with, butterflies wont. I dont kill moths when I am outside, and they aren't pretty like butterflies.
no i dont judge by looks. I would kill the roach because they cause more damage.
I would kill the roach not because it is uglier but it is more in your personal space whereas a butterfly usually does not get that close.

I believe people are hardwired to respond to appearance. A flutterby is purty, a roach is not. Squish goes the roach.
Probably the roach. They are vectors of disease, and are unsanitary. Butterflies are neither of those things. Beauty is of no consideration for this answer.
I would kill a roach and the reason being is because they are nasty and i don't like them. actually being ugly isn't the issue with me. They just freak me out ! They actually eat each others poo to stay alive!

I would kill neither because I don't like the "squish" sound. Don't forget that even though butterflies are pretty they are basically a caterpillar with wings. Not so pretty when I think about it that way.
probably the roach because there nasty disgusting creatures and the attract other bugs and butterflies are gentle creature tht were ugly once i dont think a catapillar is cute
The larva of a butterfly can do a lot of damage to plants. Maybe it is nicer because it is outside and not invading ones space.
I would kill the roach because they poop everywhere& they're supposed to be more nasty, not based on their looks, well umm.. they're pretty nasty looking, but based on what they eat, where they live.. and things like that
The cockroach not only because it's ugly, but because it a pest, butterflys don't carry as much germs as cockroaches do they?
i dont kill either, but if i had to...really really had to it would be the roach. I realize they're ugly but thats not why. They're annoying crawling around my kitchen at night (i know gross) but a butterfly doesnt intrude or climb over your food.
I don't think it has to do with ugly. Butterfly is innocent. The roach is a pest.
As long as a butterfly don't carry diseases; unlike the roach which are very filthy, carry diseases, and deserves to be killed, there is not need for me to kill a butterfly.
I would kill them both..but spiders would take top priority over both. They make me afraid.
