What are you afraid of?
Answer:
I try not to live in constant fear, but I do hate the idea of something horrible happening to my family. My son fell off the back of the couch chasing the cat last year, he was two, and when he fell, he hit his head and started seizing. He went unconscious, and stopped breathing for two minutes. I am a certified EMT, and I can handle those situations with strangers, but when it happened to my son I panicked. I forgot everything I learned in school. I opened his airway and got him to wake up again, but after that I realized that that situation was my worst fear. Losing one of my boys, my husband, or my parents.
Bugs and Darkness? I supposed.
I agree with the unknown...very scary.
However, I'm going to have to say...fish. Yep, completely irrational, but definitely a large fear of mine. I can barely look at them.

Change and ants...
I'm afraid of what people think of me and I'm terrified of needles too. they are just so pointy and they hurt so much.
losing my children. i cant think of anything else, unless it would be allowing my kids to be hurt.
spiritiual and bad religious stuff
Serious multi-system disabilities, created because of some neurological insult. The ability to hear, but not speak, a 70% physical disability, including meaningful ambulation, elemination incontenence, and just being dependent.
Fear itself. And by that I mean that fear cause you to think irrationally and come to bad decisions. If you can simply be brave in the face of fear and keep your head, there is nothing left to be afraid of.
Losing family or friends, swimming deep in the ocean (with sharks& big fish), darkness always scares the crap out of me too! I can't stand being in the dark especially alone, I imagine scary things like ghosts:P
failure and rejection
teenagers making fun of me.aliens
spiders, needles,the obvious, and falling apart when someone needs me to be strong for them.
unknown and unprepared
Spiders..isnt it amazing how humans only survive because other superior creatures are small. Oh, and not knowing for a fact whats after death.
