Why I wrong for punching for university teacher, after he said if we exist? Yes its true, I got busted.?

dude.. um i undertand ur anger because stupidity runs amongst some teacher,, but that was not the way to prove it to him.. i mean u should of been like you have no proof that shows that we do not exist.. next time ignore & kick his *** in your head!
It's ALWAYS wrong to hit. Violence is NEVER the answer. By what you say he 'asked if we exist' it sounds like it was a philosophy prof. Philosophy is the rational investigation of questions about existence and knowledge and ethics. He was most likely asking the group as a whole about it and punching he to 'prove' it is unbelievable.
And why are you questioning why you got busted? You assulted him for no real reason. If I were him I would press charges.
You should definately punch everyone you know who would ask that question. Punch family, friends and pets. In my family it is a sign of affection. We always punch each other. Do you ever mix in some kicking? That would be cool, sometimes we kick each other for less reason than "if we exist" You should come over to my house, you sound like wholesome fun.
Punching a university teacher just shows your intelligence level....... You need to be expelled!
A very stupid act. what happens if has some sort of illness - he could have been dead - and you would spend a life time behind bars...is that worth it?
He's doing his job as a teacher - to support his family, try putting yourself in people's shoes before you punch someone.
