I think people who major in psychology are crazy. They just want to get a degree in psychology so they can understand what is psychologically wrong with them.
They need to know why people behave the way they do.
Usually they observe the masses of the population.
wow... I know I learned in psychology class in college, many children go through what's called the "fecal stage" where they're obsessed with feces. They'll play with it, write on the walls w/it, etc. this happens around age 3, I believe. I'm wondering if something happened to him at this stage of life where he correlated something between sex and feces. sounds like it may require hypnosis or much psychological counseling.
It just amazes me into all the quirks out there people seem to get nutty over .
LOL.agree, curiosity is one, but, for some it may be an overwhelming need to be a number of other things.we all know people that just can't pass up a question because they are SURE they have the right answer.oh, wait! oops, {blushing}...that's me (sorry)
You should talk to your psychologist as the other poster suggested. They might be able to tell you what helped "you" turn to it. I would guess that it has something to do with your childhood... can you remember any event or situation that might have caused it?
It´s good that you know it´s not healthy. it´s going to take an incredible amount of willpower to change... but I´m sure you can stop.
Oh..very interesting. I'm not really sure, I wonder if it was some type of trauma he suffered and he doesn't really remember. Although, I have heard of his type of fetish before, I just never looked into the reason why it becomes an obsession. I'll have to do some research on this to understand that type of behavior.

In America it is about making money and people like this guy create a market. You can buy videos with golden showers (urinating) and nude sex with people eating scat and using it other ways and it is legal pornography.
Now if you go to stores covered in scat, they will kick you out, so don't do that. There is also a fetsh where people wear diapers and urinate in them.

Although this is seen to be abnormal, it is not dangerous, although, it can be unhealthy and likely difficult to find a partner to share his feelings.
With out a complete evaluation of this person, it would not be known what has caused his fetish. It would be a safe guess that it has something to do with a situation that happened during early childhood. Most psychological problems are multifactoral meaning they are caused by a series of happenings in one's life. The truth is, we may never know what causes particular problems in a person's life.
