Have you bought something that has made your life happier ?
but did it help you or is it just another "thing" you own that added to your credit card debt ?
Answer:
a golden retriever - he was expensive, but worth every happy little penny!
Yes I have had this experience, it was when I brought myself to learn(know) who I am....
We bought a bigger house. We had outgrown our old house. Now the boys have their own rooms and we all have elbow room. We're all happier.
It helps...until the next thing comes out that I want! The way I see it is what is the point of working if you can't have any fun...even if it keeps me in debt. I know I will get thumbs down for this but I don't care!!
Well while I don't really know anything about "retail therapy",,, We did purchase a water cooler, with 2 tanks. !! And now I find that I actually am drinking more water.and its healthier for us.
As for "credit card debt" !! Well I don't personally own any credit cards, after we paid ours all off, and cut them up,,,, now we just manage to pay ourselves each month,,,,then the bills next, and if anything is left over we purchase things like "Water Coolers" !!
Where we live ,,, we have a "Bi-Mart" store. The regular retail purchase price was $89.99 !! but on their sale flyer, it was 60.99,,,, and the water bottles were 5.95 each. So for $70.00 we got a good deal. We figure, and we are drinking better water as a result. AND FRANKLY, I personally will not ever own another credit card. I don't even have an ATM card from my bank. I don't like to carry things around that can just be stolen, or that I mis-use.... which by the way, BOTH ,, can happen...
time away - a few days vacation seems to help.
