I'm not married, but I know what you mean:my mum does it all the time. My IQ is about 150ish but I lack good common sense sometimes apparently. It is frustrating when I do know what I'm doing, and I get told anyway. Oh well! Such is life
It's a bit sexist to suggest that all women think that they're cleverer than men, and that all women are wrong in this assumption.
Just behave yourself and do as she says.Its easier than having to make any decisions ,and that way, when things go wrong ,joy of joys its always her fault.

You should also be "smart" enough not to dismiss an entire gender based on the one you are living with, many of us are nice, maybe just not gorgeous enough for some men that hook up with a woman because she looks hot. Looks fade but being a beotch can last forever.
I don't believe you have an IQ of 165!! My 1st husband had an IQ of 146 and was in Mensa, so give it a rest! Besides mine is only 126 and I can spell and use grammar a damned sight better than you. Either that, or English is not your first language and you should be able to do better than that with an IQ of 165!

What you gotta remember is when a man and a woman have similar IQ the woman is always the smarter one because by being a woman she has extra gifts that no man can ever match.
Theres no point listing them here you wouldnt understand after all you state your IQ at only 165 and say your wife is smarter.

Third question addressed to ladies: you're bunching us all into a stereo-typical image of being cold hearted and nasty. The general tone of your question suggests you're seeing your own negative features through your wife and blaming them on her rather than accepting you are the one who could be acting coldly and insensitively. As for the IQ, congratulations. This proves you are good at answering IQ tests. Intelligence has far broader aspects than what is measured in IQ tests. IQ tests measure only a part of what is commonly understood as intelligence. People have their own strengths and weaknesses in different areas, including your wife. Maybe you should start recognising this. She may have more common sense. I agree, being smart isn't anything but thinking you are better than someone else because of an IQ level and not considering emotions, personality, experience, skills, understanding etc. is just plain stupid. Give your wife a break and start making an effort to understand each other better. Give your relationship a chance.
