What age were you when you began to think like a parent?

Just curious.

when i became 16 i started to understand why my mom , made me stay in the house && not go out. why she keep me away from going out with my female friends, && esp from hanging around guys. she was only looking out for me , i realised that she only wanted whats best for me && me now going on 18 i learned that parents arent strike, they arent mean , they just dont want you to get in any trouble !! UM u may say im gay, but i went threw a life changing stage, && i realised i shouldnt have been in a rush to grow up !! D0NT regret nuin though cause at one point i wanted to do iit. ok im off topic huh hahhaa but yeh. 16 was when i learned && started to think like a parent !! =]]
deffinately not before 26, you don't even start to figure things out until your 25
When I was about six years old because I helped to take care of my younger brothers and sisters. I decided that I wanted to be a parent when I was about 10. That was the only thing that I ever really wanted to do. So here I am 32 years later with three daughter's and one still at home.
I have four kids, and I'm not sure that I do yet - at least not a conventional parent, and not all of the time.
