How can I overcome my fear of night?

i keep imagining the girl from "the ring" scratching at my window, or when i'm camping, that a bear or bigfoot is walking around outside my tent

Answer:
ME TOO! I picture axe murderers outside my window, and "ghosts" hovering over my bed who are going to strangle me to death even though I don't believe in ghosts...

I have OCD... and this is one of by "obsessive thoughts"... when I'm really stressed out this happens more often, but I've learned to "self talk" myself out of it or just distract myself.

If you know these thoughts are irrational but you just CAN'T control them. and if you have obsessive behaviors or obsessive thoughts you could have mild OCD...

But it's much more likely that you just have a mild case of Nyctohylophobia... a fear of the night... for which you probably need to "face your fears" as that's the best way of overcoming them.

what you have to do is
challenge yourself...
don`t think your sick...
your not..
that`s normal...
get out at night...
sit down and watch the moon
take a peace of wood with you...
its gives um a sensation of safety..
imagine that if some of these monsters attack you they Will get beated by you...
you stronger than them..
and you know why?
because you can think..
they can`t...
think about it...
enjoy night parties
