How can you remember a fatal accident?
Answer:
You may have some repressed memories of the accident. If you are interested in a way to try and uncover those memories, you may try EMDR. http://www.emdr.com/ You can search the site and even find a therapist that practices it by clicking on the "Find a clinician" and then "Click hear to search for Clinicians." I would recomend some talk therapy after the EMDR so that you can express your feelings and beliefs.
I wish you the best.
Seek out someone who does regressive hypnotherapy - they might be able to help you with that.
Only key aspects of any memory sequence are stored in long term memory.
Even if you had a traumatic experience, only key facets of that experience will be stored.
And, if the experience was too horrific, you may be unconsciously attempting to suppress it as much as you can in order to maintain an even emotional state. Even though you want to remember every detail at some level of consciousness, you may realize that you need to suppress some of it at another level of consciousness.
