Would you get into a relationship with someone knowing it's going to be a long distance relationship?
Answer:
If you feel like she may be the one, then I have one thing to say:
Do it.
I know you’ll hear a lot of people saying it is too hard to maintain a relationship and carry the trust to help the relationship blossom, but those people have not truly tried. I have a lot of experience in love and long distance dating and I will be the first to tell you it is hard…but the rewards are worth it.
You see, a normal person only finds true love a few times in their life. If this person is worth it…truly worth it…they should have no trouble finding the patience to wait for your return. It truly comes down to your abilities to trust each other. Once that trust is there…then nothing can stop you from being happy.
I had an online friend for 7 years who I was close to, but we lived very far apart. We would talk together and have a great time until I realized how happy she made me. I was wary about destroying our friendship with my feelings, but I told her how I felt and was ecstatic she felt the same way! Now we are to be married in a few months, and I can’t be happier. I love her with every fiber of my being and was so happy I made the choice to seek her out and brave a long distance relationship.
In all honesty, long distance relationships take just three ingredients to make them work: Love, Trust, and an incredibly great phone plan.
Love only comes once or twice…always be ready to grab happiness before it gets away. Because if you do not…you’ll always wonder what could have been.
Try out the long distance thing for a while and if it doesn't work out as you planned then break up
what does a "relationship" mean to both parties?
if it's a true connection, distance won't matter
I did enter into a relationship knowing it was going to be long distance. I lived in Massachusetts, and he lived in New Jersey. We were together for a year, long distance. And he visited me, and then I visited him. After a series of visits, I ended up moving to New Jersey with him. I've not once regretted it after all these years.
i say go for it :) ive been with my baby for 2 yrs now and it started long distance , life is only worth living if you seize it and take chances :) it may be the best relationship you have ever had or the most incredible journey youve ever taken . one way or the other what do you have to lose ? ;) blessings be !!
I'd consider staying for a broad ;-)
