Do you know this quote-you are never as bas as they say you are,but you are not as good as they say you are?
something like that.what do you take it to mean?
Answer:
To me it means a person is neither all good or all bad, but a mixture of the two. After all, no one is perfect. As long as you're reasonably satisfied with yourself, who cares what the other guy thinks of you, anyway.
er..no
I'm not a good as I once was, but I am as good once as I ever was.
i'm gonna be a dick an answer your question with a question :) who is they and why do you care what they say?
It has more to do with the old "eye of the beholder" many people will only focus on the good and others will only focus on the bad so you never get a true idea of what you are to others.
"you are never as bad as they say you are and you're never as good as they say you are."
humm from what im thinking it means that " they" who ever they are maybe friends or the public over estimate. or over exaggerate when they make comments on what ever.
