Need some ideas what to get my wife for her B-Day and get her thinking.? Women help me!?
Answer:
My husband sent me a gorgeous set of pajamas from www.pajamagram.com for my birthday while he was deployed. They have a variety of pajamas from comfy to cute that come wrapped beautifully in an organza box with ribbon. Also, if you go to aafes.com, look for "Shop by Retailer" on the left side of the screen about halfway down, and then click on "FTD", they give military discounts for sending flowers. You HAVE to go through aafes to get the FTD military discount. You can also use your "Star Card" to purchase flowers on FTD that way. That's what my husband did for me while he was deployed, and it was very thoughtful and sweet.
Another idea is the hershey's website, www.hersheys.com. You can send customized kisses. They can print cusomized messages on cards made from hershys chocolate, AND they can also print a customized message on a large hersheys kiss.
Finally, one thing I sent to my husband while he was deployed were customized M&M's. http://us.mms.com/us/ You choose the color of your M & M's, and then give them a special message that they will print on each individual M&M. (Choose "Customize your m&m). It's alot of fun, and very personal, which is what women love.
Hope you like these ideas, because they helped my husband and I show how much we care through his long deployment.
Flowers and give her something to do with a hobby she likes.. sexy lingerie for her to wear for when you come home..
well i would write a poem about all the things you miss about the women you know best!! she is your lover so you know what she likes over anyone here!
most women love shoes!! so maybe 1 odd weird shoe and put some stuff in it like some fanzy undies with a note please wear for me upon my return! even better some of your undies! sexy! some candles and other girly things!
maybe some art!! you can buy some art from starving artist on this web site deviantart.com
all girls love flowers but take that next step and buy a plant!
umm that's all i can think of !
Best wishes!
And thanks!!
All you have to do it type in the word "Gifts for Women" in your search box. There will be thousands of sites to choose from...
Victoria Secret, Vermont Country Store, Walmart even, man the list is endless. You need to decide what you'd like to send. Flowers, Jewelry, personalized jewelry is nice, if ya'll have kids together, a mother's ring with both yours and her birthstones, god the list is endless.just type in the word gifts, and you'll get a ton of ideas, just make sure there is that little "lock" on the bottom of the website, or proof the site is secure before whipping out your credit card.we don't want one of our soldiers being taken advantaged of, and nowadays, people are ruthless so caution my friend.
on a personal note, hope all is well with you and your buddy's, and ya'll are in my thoughts to come home safe! and soon!.
My husband sent a Barber Shop Quartet to come to my job and sing to me. It was so cool...I was teaching in a third grade class room that day (my son was a student) and they loved it as well. The men gave me a dozen roses, a box of candy, and a card from my husband...
In the past he has planted flowers and landscaped the yard (you could hire someone to do this). He has given me a day at a spa...that was cool...while I was at the spa he and the boys cleaned and organized the garage.
My suggestion is be thoughtful, practical, and let it be something she can remember. My husband really tries to make it as heartfelt as possible.
You know her best...I just can't put my finger on ideas because of the distance for one thing and the other is most of ideas I would share would require you to be there romantically. We've never had the experience of not being physically together on our birthdays.
Lucky for you we have the internet and you have a way to send some contractors to bid on a job at your home, order her a gift certificate for anything, make a special purchase, send her the coolest card/poem etc. You could even have dinner together if cams are available. It's great that you can still make the best of it even tho you are so far away : )
