it does take a longtime to trust a person and to determine whether that person is worth your time and emotional investment, but sometimes your heart can rule your head and that spells BIG TROUBLE!
i have been hurt quite badly this year but i wont let that put me off!! i have met a really good guy and we are keeping to good friends - so far he has been wonderful and we tell each other everything and he has really helped me through these last past few weeks 0 i feel almost healed though i still miss the other guy and think about him - but much less now - soon not at all or very rarely
i will love again this time someone who loves me for a change xxxx

I am not...but, the reason some people are is the simple fact of getting hurt. Most people are afraid to trust because they have been burnt before so it is very hard to just let all your guards down and trust someone completely.
Because if it's not a 2-way love it will hurt. A lot. You may die or kill yourself. Not everyone is strong enough to recover from the broken heart. Or if they have - not everyone is brave enough to try again.
You wouldn't stick your arm in fire just because you want to feel it's warmth and feel it's beauty. You know it will hurt. However - not every flame would burn you. But you wouldn't try to see if it would, would you? Especially if you have been burnt before.
The expression "to die of a broken heart" is not a joke. It is a phisical pain if you have to go through it. Nothing is phisically damaged, but it hurts like hell and you cannot breathe.
You will only understand if you felt this.
My heart had torn into tiny lil pieces,it leaves a deep pain that couldn't be healed and now that i can't trust guys anymore.
