When the realization came to me that I did not have to constantly fluctuate between being happy and sad. If you are not up you are down, if you are not happy you are sad. Language created the circle, and all of our lives we just race around that circle going from one opposite to another.Yin and yang, happy and sad, hot or cold, old or young: hopefully there will come a time when we no longer beat ourselves up with the words we use, and when we do quit flogging our self mentally it will still be now. It is always now.
Also there is a great deal of difference between what we call enjoyment, which is another way of saying 'happy', and 'joy' which is another way of saying 'PEACE'.
When each one of us is at peace with our self, the world will also be at peace.

Can't think of one particular moment, but I am happiest with my dog (he really is my best friend) and my friends when we are just hanging out, laughing, and being just plain silly.

I thought that I would be a nervous wreck the day I got married, if I did get married. I wasn't so much. I was nervous, of course. But it had nothing to do with my husband. It had to do with being the center of attention.
I wasn't really the center because it seemed like everyone was having a great time talking to each other, enjoying the food, etc. It was wonderful.

The birth of my children, graduations, and everytime I accomplish another of my lifes goals.
Knowing I have another moment to cherish. It is an on going thing.To me happiness is a by -product of some thing that puts a smile on my face and makes my heart warm.
When I've been privileged to witness something in nature that makes me feel privileged to have witnessed it - something typically not witnessed by John Q Public - it becomes a snapshot in my mind's eye that I can view over and over again.
When I watched the birth of my nephew it was the most intense live changing experience some may be grossed out by child birth but this was just pure amazing It truly made me believe miracles DO happen, My nephew was given up for adoption my brother and his girlfriend were not ready for a child at this point in their lives, I was 14 when he was born and now im 15 Im sure I have a lot of happy moments ahead of me but that will be the happiest moment for many years to come, I can always keep that memory with me, and one day my nephew and i will meet again :)

for the first time in my twenty seven years of living. i had finally told a guy face to face that I love him.
Though I was not able to reap my expectations but then I was relieved and was able to move on. I feel i have conquered one of my self-created enemies.
