How do I stop myself from being nervous?
Answer:
Fear, excitement or nerves are all the same thing.
When they occour your brain sends various adrenilin based things in to the system.
Try doing things that scare you more and you will become more immune to them.
Good luck.
You may have an anxiety disorder, I feel this way in social situations and I have started seeing a councillor to talk things through. This can usually be overcome and there may be other reasons why you feel this way(deep rooted issues). See your gp, as anxiety disorders can compromise your way of life and the choices that you make.
dearlin' no1 is perfect!! do you know somebody who is not nervous nowadays? . you don't know me!
kisses and be calm
start by telling yourself to be bolder and by loosing the name youve given yourself your bound to live up to the name if you see it before you in here everyday give yourself a bolder name and then start trying to live up to it.act your way through at first i dont matter if your quivering inside,as soon as you get results the act will start to feel real xxx
I am the same way... I've even gotten pulled over by the police and knew I wasn't doing something wrong... but I get nervous because I know the authority they've got. I am very non-confrontational! Real manhood is not standing your ground, but rather acknowledging your emotions and accepting them, and not trying to live up to someone else's standards!
You should stop worrying about it. It is perfectly O.K. and normal to be nervous, its normally a sign of intellegence. You would be wrong not to be concerned about someone who has power over you.
You can prevent any anxiety getting out of control by taking slow deep breaths. After a couple of minutes, you will feel fine again.
If you are in a situation where you feel nerveous, just think of a happy place or something you enjoy doing without loosing concentration of what you are suppose to focus on.
I'm a nerveous person myself and I often find that thinking about something that makes me happy reduces the stress a bit.
Good luck
