Are Rorshak inkblot tests still in use today?
Answer:
Though not as valid as the objective personality tests, like the MMPI-2, the Rorschach is still in use today. It is still being taught in clinical psychology programs. I spent a good 6 weeks learning about it, for 3 hours a week and I continue to get regular supervision on it.
The Rorschach has standardized administration and interpretation methods, so it is about the patient, not the administrator. The method to administer it and interpret it is very specific, very methodical.
It has some therapeutic value. I didn't really like it at first, but I've had a lot of patients say, "Wow, that's exactly me. You hit the nail on the head."
sometimes but notas often

It is used by some psychiatrists, but my university has decided that it is not reliable and is no longer teaching it. It is a subjective test that tells just as much if not more about the interpreter as it does the patient. I wouldn't use it or allow it to be administered to me.
They are used by some psychologists, I sill learned about them in my clinical psychology course. We were told however that the cards are kept pretty secret therefore the one's online may not be the real thing.
Yes in deed they are.
It's amazing, they have been using the same ones ever since they were created, there is a huge database of peoples answeres to them from the first time they were used.
