Why do we not remeber the very few seconds before we are born?

I remeber my self when i was 8 month old i did remined my mom and she was really shocked by that.I believe there is some other people too remember

I don't remember the first five years after I was born. I think that the mind has a funny way of protecting itself. Birth is a very traumatic experience for us. We probably forget so we aren't haunted by birthing nightmares for the rest of our lives.

We can if we are hypnotized. Many people find a hypnotist to regress them back to the moment of birth. They discover that they wondered why it was so cold, why there was such a noise, why nobody welcomed them.

because our minds are mostly "gray matter" and the capacities for memory and thought not yet developed. it takes time to grow a brain, it's the most complex organ we have. just because you're out of the womb doesn't mean you're able to think and recall. study up on human development, esp in the first 12 years of life, and it becomes clear how the brain is literally learning how to function and determining how the world should be perceived. babies are still trying to learn how to use their bodies, they haven't even developed "object permanence" yet. it would be impossible to have memory that far back. most people's earliest memories are from about three years old or so. there's a reason for that, it's not poetic just biological
Scientist believe that at young ages, such as birth, children suffer from infant amnesia. Their brain and memory does not have the capacity at such a young age and often the memories decay.
