How to fullfill everybodie's expectations ?
We live in a society sorrounding friends, parrents, wife, boss and many more. Everybody has some expectation with us.Even we have some the same with ourself.
But how to stand 100 % on them where we don't know even what one can expect with us.
How can we come to know about one's expectations and fullfill them, where one gets unsatisfied in the course of satisfying another.
Can you answer me ? If the question is clear for you.
or else plz, let me know I will try to describe the question with more clariry.
Thanks.
Answer:
I choose to only satisfy my OWN expectations. I am the one who has to live with myself and my choices 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
But since I have a rather high criteria for myself, I feel it should satisfy everyone else who may feel like they have a right to expect things from me.
Not possible -
Do what makes you feel good, and happy -
Forget what others expect -
It's your life - live it by your own choices. . .
Okay can you re-write the question in English? Use your spell checker or better yet use a dictionary.
Your question is its own answer. You cannot fulfill everyone's expectaions all the time. So the best you can do is fulfill your own. I tell my colleagues that no matter what they do, someone is going to be unhappy about it, so they might as well do what works for them and let the chips fall where they do.
Don't worry about fulfilling everyone else's expectations of you. They'll only hold you back or pull you in conflicting directions. Focus on fulfilling your own expectations of yourself and you will more than likely exceed everyone else's expectations of you in ways they never dreamed of.
Trying to satisfy everyone would be a futile effort. One should rather try his/her best to be fair and helpful to others. Whether or not they appreciate this is of little or no importance.
But this attitude may be practiced by someone who understands his duties towards God. I hope you'd understand what I am trying to say.
We are not on this earth to fulfill others expectations. We are who we are and we do the best we can--everyone else needs to accept that. Even in employment, the boss has expectations. If you know up front you will not be able to meet them, you are not a good match for that job. If the expectations increase after you have been working awhile, then just explain you will do the best you can. That is all anyone can do. There are those who will keep 'upping the ante' and those people are not really worth it. They just want to see how far they can push you.
Hi,
My guess is that you are foreign, most likely Indian.
And being from that culture you are taught to try to please everyone. Please know that after many years of trying that, I know first hand that it is NOT possible. You will always fall short of pleasing everyone. My Indian friends who force themselves to do what everyone else thinks they should do, are not even remotely as happy as the ones that have decided to be their own persons.
The best thing to do is to be open and honest. Ask the person what their expectations are and explain what you are willing and not willing to do. Make it clear that you are human and cannot possibly fill everyone's expectations. Ask or tell them to please have respect for your life by "letting" you have your life. Now Im not saying break up ur marriage or get fired over this. Since I dont know your specific situation, I would say speak with a counselor or close friend who would understand this situation. Do not do anything irrational ok. Good luck and hope everything goes well.
Some people live to fulfill their parents expectations, to follow in their footsteps. Some are happy with that. Some go one to fulfil their OWN dreams and as long as they are sucessfull they are pleasing their parents as well. Some of these people go on to living very unhappy lives because they are pleasing someone else and not themselves.
You can live your life doing a job to please your parents, or your spouse, but who are you living life for?
People need to live the life that THEY feel comfortable with themselves, to be happy in their own skin! That is success to me!
Some people live their lives trying to please everybody and soon find out that it's not possible, ultimately it is YOU who must live your life in a way that is satisfying to you,if in doing so you please some people that'good, and if you don't that's ok too, you can give of yourself to others but you can not be all things to all people.
A person knows people's expectations because people are constantly nagging them and telling the person what needs to be done. A person can never be satisfied with pleasing everybody because pressure, stress, & tension begins to build up, and soon depression takes over that person. The person begins to feel the pressure of the weight on their shoulders, the person's stress level builds and it feels like they'll explode at any second, and the tension to burst parades through the body and be ready to explode.
However, in order to fulfill everybody's expectations a person must find balance - through everything there is balance. For everything there are opposites. Opposites attract merely because one thing is of coincidence that they meet substantial goal. Rights will be met with wrongs and rights will seek out wrongs. Balance is the neutral point.
Life is about choices and making the right ones but when you don't make the right one, there's always another chance for you to make the right one.
There is never a compromise because you've got to think of what's best for you or those around you.
Life is an adventure, so expect the unexpected!
Like many answerers, I don't agree to fulfill others' expectations, just make the most of you. You are living for yourself not the others. Everyone is special and unique to his or her families, friends and co-worker. So BE YOUSELF!
Many people suffered from stress because of high expectations from others or self. Choose a happy life and lower your expectations.
Sometimes we make mistakes, but it is OK. People do make mistakes, but take the mistake as a lesson to learn not an excuse.
When you do your best, people will know and some will appreciate it. Remember, tell yourself you have done a great job.
Good luck my friend! :)
It isn't always possible to fulfill other's expectations although I don't necessarily agree with those who say to do whatever feels good.
I think we should set high expectations for ourselves & in doing so, will probably meet some other people's expectation of us.
I think that we have certain obligations in life & we shld do whatever we can to meet them. My mother is getting old & I feel that I shld do what I can to help her. I believe that we shld do volunteer work. That we have an obligation to do what we can to make our part of the world a better place. Etc., etc., etc. An employer deserves to have an employee who will do their best.
Know when to say 'no.' We can't be all things to all people. You must pick & choose & you must take care of yourself.both physically & mentally. Don't overdo things. Be true to yourself. Weigh choices.
All I can say is: why in the world would you want to even try to fill everybody's expectations of you? That can get you all messed up, and then in the long run, no one is fulfilled or completely happy anyway! Get to know yourself, and fulfill your own expectations.
My whole life has been spent living up to other's expectations, I have just realized MY expectations are what is important. You will always have the boss that expects you to do what you need to, the significant other that needs their needs met, the kids that can't live without you, the friends that need you...but if you aren't stable enough to take care of yourself, how are you supposed to do any good to these other people? Always put your needs first... Don't let people down...just let them know that sometimes you can't meet EVERYONE'S expectations without completely obliterating yours. Most people will understnd this since, well they have the same thing going on in their life! Good luck :]
