Will you always rise to the challenge?
Answer:
Challenge is one of my favourite things, even if NO ONE knows I'm involved. I take things on because they are things in which I believe, & "winning" has absolutely no part in it. It would be a lie if I said I didn't want to "accomplish" a goal, or to contribute to a large cause. But, to WIN?? That rings of ego stroking, doesn't it? Persoanlly, if winning was the goal, that would invalidate the logic/feeling in the challenge.
It depends on the challenge. I think the secret is in picking your challenges carefully.
Winning and taking part are BOTH important. You have to win at least sometimes or there's no point in taking part. If you choose the challenge properly there is at least a good chance of winning. But taking part is also important, even if you don't win.
yes i will always rise to the challenge. the winning is not important to me it 's taking part that's important.
I can rise to everychallenge. I am a very deicated and can be very puritanical about something I want. Winning counts but you have to expect to loose and fail and try anyways
oh yeah, give me any kind of challenge, lol winning is not that important, its the fact that i still have that motivation to do stuff..is more important
yes. chances of winning of a person who participates for the sake of participation is more than anybody else.
Since everything on this physical plane is relative. then what one views as a challenge is relative to that person. If winning is important to one, then fear of not winning is relatively important to that person. If doing ones best is sufficient [the approach most realistic] then "winning" is achieved each time one is challenged.
In all instances where one "measures" oneself against events outside of oneself as to whether or not one is a winner or a loser, then one is a loser automatically. The reason is simply that as a Soul, one is always Perfect. but this Perfection is a Spiritual Reality that ones MIND, and ones brain cannot perceive. Nothing outside yourself will ever "prove" your worth relative to your Perfection. Your Soul is an observer of life, and it is your Apapsyche [or the Operational Energy of your Soul ] that experiences life via use of your MIND, brain and physical senses.
You are not what you do or experience, in other words. These are merely for you to experience as part of the world... these things will never be you. The only place where you can view your own Perfection is within an "inner" realm of Reality far removed from the physical plane of existence.
So, the wise person accepts life as the challenge, and simply engaging it wholehearted is "winning".
Peace
