Is life so cruel?
Now if something happens to me today, I am not leaving a good savings for my family.
Is life like this only ?

Working for a company for that long says a lot about your character. You're a loyal, honest, hard working person with integrity and compassion. People change through the years, such as your boss obviously did. Even the best of people can get greedy and selfish, then turn on good employees such as yourself. Always stay true to yourself, and be patient throughout life. What comes around, goes around; and your boss will get his in the future (if not sooner).
How do I know this? I worked for a company for over 14 years and was fired suddenly. That was odd because for 13 years, my boss thought the world of me and knew me well. Funny how another employee was hired to do the same job as mine and within 8 months, managed to turn the boss against me. It took him, along with her conniving ways, to plan my firing. What was weird was that even though he supposedly had two unfounded reasons why I was being fired, he gave me 4 weeks severence pay along with 3 weeks vacation pay, and 6 weeks sick pay. Employers aren't supposed to give sick pay! He felt guilty because he knew he was doing the wrong thing, and I am the type of person who always does the right thing, even when it makes me seem like an outsider.
Life is not always going to be easy. There are no guarantees. You have to learn to rely on the Lord and do his will. I have been the happiest I have ever been for almost a year now. Life isn't cruel. Life is grand. It's what YOU make up YOUR mind for it to be.

People shouldn't seek to become secure with companies, as this leaves you open to the whims of others, contempt and betrayal. It's best that people strive to be in their own business.
If you were at the job 12 yrs. how ome you don't have a savings? You will find something just don't fall into feeling sorry for yourself. Pick yourself up brush yourself off and go for it...
Yes, this is how most companies are now run. Money, is the bottom line. The company wants to get the most profit, so if you are not in the plan, you will be cut out. The business world has become a very difficult place. You used to be rewarded for loyalty to a company, those days are gone. Bottom line is the $$$$.
