Please help me !!!!!?
Answer:
Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and you have yours. I am VERY IMPRESSED that you want to play knowing you are not as gifted in VB as some of your buds, and I think you are to be commended for that. If you are serious about it and really want to boost your confidence, buy a ball and practice hitting it around at home. Practice serving it into a brick wall time and time again un til you get the feel for serving. Pop it up into the air and see how long you can keep bouncing it into the air before dropping it, this will teach you ball control.
You do not have to be amazingly strong to play VB, you do not even need the big confidence boost you think you do. You only need to put a smile on your face and play the best game you can give it. You know deep down inside none of your buds can beat you in chess, now use that winning spirit to overcome them at THEIR game
Good luck!
God, this is like me in high school all over again!
Just do your best. If you still aren't played, talk to your coach about giving you a chance.
I actually wound up quitting VB because I was benched all the time. I don't even know why I got on the team if the coach thought I was so bad!
I have a hard time believing that you are such a genius when you spell like that.
Yes, I was a terrible VB player, too. I actually got hit in the head by the ball several times. No one wanted me on their team. I want to tell you that it's not the end of the world. No one will care about it once you're out of school. Either transfer to another sport if you can, or just be a good sport about it. No one will judge you by this skill later in life. It is just something you have to get through. No one can be good at everything, and you are doing very well in other areas that are much more important.
