why technicians were kept at the lower level in our society?
think seriuosly and please reply me with positive and negative views on this subject

Answer:
Where I come from, technicians receive a substantial wage. They are considered vital to the economy and are paid commensurate with that continual need.

If you are currently in an environment that uses engineers to do technician work, then your company is making a big mistake.

Engineers are idea people who quickly become bored after they complete a design or set an engineering process in motion. At this point, a technician should step in and continue the engineer's work.

That doesn't make the technician's work less important or less valuable. Technicians just work at different technical processes.
This is a result of the way that Capitalism works.

Engineers are valued, because they are the thinkers and designers, and without engineers there would be no new inventions.

Technicians are only needed to keep the engineer's inventions going, and historically it's always been easy and cheap to get labour to keep the country going. All you need is a training manual and a whip.

This rule of thumb still applies today. Engineers require training and education and there aren't many of them, hence they are expensive, whereas Technicians are less skilled and there's plenty of them - so they're cheap.

In IT, this causes a problem because there simply aren't enough engineers to go around, and everyone wants a piece of one. Engineer gets decent pay, but no spare time due to the myriad of comms devices now available to get hold of him. Hence engineer spends much time doing deep level support and not enough time doing design - which is what he's paid for.

Result - engineers are stressed due to overwork, technicians are stressed due to lack of job security.

No-one wins.
Engineer sounds more professional to me. As time goes by, those who have higher education and thus better title would definitly evade the job market.
The level of knowledge and scope for improvement for technician is less. Another important aspect of not accepting the technician is automation and required precision and speed of functioning.
