What makes cocaine addictive? (if you don't have a clue don't reply, please)?

its not physical addiction at all! Sometimes when i'm on it i can't really feel any different? But i do enjoy and crave for it!

Can you describe the psycological addiction?

Answer:
Researchers have discovered that, when a pleasurable event is occurring, it is accompanied by a large increase in the amounts of dopamine released in the nucleus accumbens by neurons originating in the VTA. In the normal communication process, dopamine is released by a neuron into the synapse (the small gap between two neurons), where it binds with specialized proteins (called dopamine receptors) on the neighboring neuron, thereby sending a signal to that neuron. Drugs of abuse are able to interfere with this normal communication process. For example, scientists have discovered that cocaine blocks the removal of dopamine from the synapse, resulting in an accumulation of dopamine. This buildup of dopamine causes continuous stimulation of receiving neurons, probably resulting in the euphoria commonly reported by cocaine abusers.
cocaine has a chemical that goes in you and you can't stop it. if i were you i would stop because you are going to miss out on a lot.
it enhances whatever ur doin so when u come down from it it starts feelin plain man...thast why u crave for it
I see what is your point.

You want to say it is psyhological...yes it is in a way...but where are you going?

Do you have answer for that?

Peace! ~
mind alternating chemical. NO reality going on in your brain. I think it activates something in the brain to numb you from the real world.
Because you are wanting to do things which should not give you self-esteem, so you steal the feeling of it with cocaine.
being an @$$hole for using the crap
WHO don't know the answer to that before. the coke company had to take their product off the shelf's in the early 70's, because of cocaine in their product.
its not really that addictive it's you. charlie is a social drug but used the wrong way, ie too much, too often it can be the cause of paranoia and serious mood swings. the body itself does not crave charlie, but if you are in certain situations psychologically you will want it, ie in a club feeling a bit too drunk and need that boost to bring you back and get you through the night. either way it is down to you, what do you want to do?
Because cocaine is an alkaloide that serves as a stimulant for the central nervious system. It can be addictived if used in excess, also there is some pycological addiction since this stimulant hits stright to your brain. Experts say there is no such a thing as physical addiction. I believe (cause I've seen it many times) there is some to certain degree.
I don't have a clue
hod on hod on, if its not physical why crave? if you don't feel any different, how do you know your enjoying what?, away you go.
