How do you inspire the will to live?
Answer:
Volunteer work... you make a difference.
Goals... especially the ones that nobody else picks out for you.
Abandoning self-talk that is negative... Affirmations help. They can even be pre-packaged (i.e. Louise Hayes books).
Explore life after death. Especially self created death.
If, however, this is for somebody terminally ill, don't pressure too much. There is a huge difference between extending the length of life, and extending the quality of it.
It comes natural. I am biologically programmed to desire food, water, shelter, and reproduction.
Don't worry, be happy
Honestly this sounds wierd but I think about the little babies who are born with terminal illnesses. They don't even have a shot at life and I do and I should be thankful. Take a walk through a childrens cancer center. It will inspire you.
i think that it is up to the individual to be honest if the person has given up then they are usually beoned reason but i hink that people around the inidividual should try to keep them positive but accept what is actaully happening as sometimes the will to live is not strong enoguh to fight a losing battle and if someone is dying unfortunately we all have to go through this at some point in our lifes and it is something which is very hard to accept losing someone we love but sometines it is allowing the the peace to know that everyone is giving them the chance to be free of pain and illness. You need to look at the situation by taking a step back and assess to see what the most likely outcome is going to be dont fool yourself as it will cause you more pain after
if you fall don't ! just get up dust your self and start all over again!
If you are a student..think of a good future waiting for you.
If you are a husband...and have kids..think of them that they are waiting for you at the door step that you will come back and bring them the choclates.
And if you are an old man retired...think of your past the good things you did and the place you achived in your life.
Think of your next generation if you have grand children, spend more time with them, and then be their inspiration for them to grow in a good direction.

TO LIVE THERE ARE MANY REASON. FIND IT AND LIVE FOR IT.
IF YOU DONT FIND A REASON TO LIVE, THEN YOU FIND THE REASON THAT WHY DONT YOU HAVE REASON TO LIVE WHEREBY THE OTHER'S DO.
