What does my dream mean?

The old couple remarks represent the good in you that you simple cannot see or refuse to accept.
The man with the gun to your head is the road you are on and it is not a good one.
The little girl represents innocence, which is something you really crave. Your remarks to the child, represents you crying out for innocence. Innocence is the time when things were simple and predictable in your life.
