Contagious Yawns?

we know that for some reason when humans yawn, it tends to transfer to other people and then we're all yawning. Does this happen with animals? Has anyone seen this?

Answer:
yes it does happen with animals too.

this is addressed in the highly interesting book 'Counting Sheep' by Paul Martin which is about every aspect of sleep.

apparently it is still not fully understood by Science. But they know it prepares the body for action getting oxygen to the blood stream faster, so one of the theories is that its infectious nature goes back to hunter gatherer times when everyone in the tribe would start doing this before going out on a hunt. Soldiers are known to do this now, before a battle!
Yes i have YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWN
I saw a herd of cows do a 'mexican' yawn.

not really, just really bored.
Yawning isn't contagious. It's all a coincidence. Animals with that same effect would just be a coincidence as well.
yes this was a Mythbuster show, and they proved it all,
