I'm feel SO bad?
I'm pregnant and of course tired and nauseous, weepy, etc. I have this new job with a boss that makes me feel useless because of the way he treats me even though I'm working hard and making a huge effort. I'm afraid I will never get the time to be with my child if I keep this job because it's 8:00 PM when I get to leave early... if not I end up going home around 9:00 PM.
I know most of my feelings are caused because of my hormones but I can’t help but feeling worried and afraid… I just feel bad and it’s getting harder and harder to come to work everyday. And I don’t want to quit, I just don’t know what to do to make my boss happy with my work, and then stop feeling stupid, I haven’t told him I’m pregnant becauseI’m only 8 weeks but I’m afraid he won’t want me around and send me do some lousy job some where else.
Should I be worry or is this normal?
I’ve been asking some questions but I still can’t get myself feeling better.
P.S. Nobody knows I feel like this, I haven’t t
Answer:
Congratulations; you're having a BABY:-)
You know, don't stick around if your boss isn't worth it. But ´do you know him/her enough to know that? Since it's a new job you could ask if he/she would sit ´down with you and tell what is expected of you - not knowing when you've done your job well is just too stressful.
Sure your hormones has something to do with it - I can assure you that the more you worry the less happy the baby is - itøll want a happy mom!
Talk to your boss, find out what rules your company has on pregnancies/maternaty leave etc. og please, take care of yourself. Having a child is the most wonderful thing in the world - morning sickness or not.
Best wishes.

First of all make sure that he knows that you are pregnant, you don't want him to make you do a job that might hurt you or your child. Plus if you tell him (especially in writing) you have less of a chance of him discriminating you because of your pregnancy. Remember that being pregnant is also a form of sexual discrimination because males can't get pregnant. And you are right, your hormones are going to make you more sensitive to things like that but its good that you are aware of what you are going through. All bosses are like that and you don't need to take it personally. I recomend that you talk to your boss so he is aware of what you are going through, and if he moves you to somewhere where you are not comfortable just talk to him and if you don't like working with him just quit, you will find a better job with better hours.
