What are the psychological impacts of moral policing on students?

Moral Policing : No to internet, cinema, games, etc. Rigid dress codes, control on friends, etc.

Answer:
..Psychologically, it would be demotivating and depressing. Also, the enforcers would lose credibility with the students, because it inhibits learning. A positive approach would be to treat the students like adults...it doesn't work to try to legislate morality.
