Why do we get scared?

Well, whenever your talking about an emotion, you just have to realize its a part of our natural instinct as human beings. Fear, however is pretty much caused by our judgement. If any of us ever see something that's paranormal or uncommon in our lifetime, chances are that we would be terrified because we've never seen experienced something like that happen before. For example, say there's a scary roller coaster (that you've never been on) at the amusement park that you just got on to. You would be terrified because you've never really experienced it before, but other people that experienced it before wouldn't feel the same way. That's the way fear is. The majority of us on here are afraid of paranormal entities, but a paranormal expert surely wouldn't be since they are used to all of that. That's the way fear is; some people are used to it while others are afraid because they've never experienced it before. Hope this helps.

Fear is a part of our emotions. There are some emotions that never need to be taught. Fear is one of them. Its a minds natural response.
i think fear is created on us since we were younger
my mom will always tell me if you don't behave the monster will come for you of course now i know it was all a joke so i could behave good.Even innocent cartoons would put artificial fear of certain made-up things like the cookie monster, the monster on the closet and things like that.So as we grow older or mind develops more and we are no longer scare of that but we are scare of other things... somethings that are also made up but it gives us the chills when we think about them. I hope all this makes sence.
