My life is heavenly because I am fortunate enough to get to spend time in the "real" world, rather than the human-created world. When I am surrounded by nature, I realize that neither I nor any other person could have created this world; the world that people have constructed pales in comparison. So, I get to enjoy a beauty and a wonder which is beyond any human's ability to replicate. That's probably as close to heavenly as you can get.
The Bible says that "eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, the things that the Lord has prepared for them that love Him'. When I go out in nature and see the beauty that is as close as I can get. Knowing He is in my life gives me great peace. Mmm
My thoughts are bent towards Heaven, not all the time, but every day. When something bad happens, I long for a better place. When I walk under the stars and feel like I'm standing on the brink of eternity, looking out into space, I feel like Heaven is close. Praying and meditating on Jesus and his life also makes me feel a closeness to a better life, right at that moment. Sunlight on a flower- that is heavenly. Meeting the eyes of someone and understanding something without saying a word- that is heavenly. Every day, whether it goes well or badly, usually has a little bit of Heaven in it.
