Does it help to have a really good cry?
No wise guys please. I'm feeling a bit down.
Answer:
Virtually always. Yes, yes, yes. A good cry is like a natural safety valve built right into us for releasing all that God-awful tension that comes with sadness or unhappiness or frustration. It is such a relief to have a good cry. I usually go outside and grab a tree, too, so all that awful energy gets "grounded out," as well. If you grab a tree and hold on tight when you let it go (cry), you will feel the earth and the life in that tree grounding you. It is a wonderful feeling. I was very upset one morning and I went for a walk in the park behind our home and I met a squirrel. He was sitting staring at me as I approached on the path. It stopped me in my tracks and I began to talk to him. "You have no idea how upset I am!" And he blinked. Then I began to cry and to my amazement, he came closer and sat down almost beside me. Well - what a comfort! I had a good cry, and when I was done, off he went. I will never forget it - that little squirrel.
Yes it dose
it also helps to talk to someone you trust as well
Yes, it absolutely does. Sometimes I cry myself to sleep and by morning it's like it was all a dream and I can look at things much more objectively.
sometimes. if ur really sad. you just let it all out and then when ur done you can move on and forget about whatever it was u were crying about.

Yes. I'm a firm believer that crying is healthy. Sometimes you just need to break down and let it all out.
I'm sorry that you are feeling down... Lord knows I've been there. Whenever I am really sad, I usually take a bubble bath. It's hard to stay sad when you are surrounded by bubbles.
UMM YAH! you just feel really tired afterwards and wanna go to sleep.. lol but yea it is great!
Yes and no.
Yes, because you "purge" yourself of the bad feelings.
No, because it makes you all red-eyed and sniffly and your nose and eyes get all puffy.
I prefer to open a bottle of champagne, and drink it all while watching any cry-fest movie you have...Brian's Song, Terms of Endearment, Steel Magnolias, Pretty Woman...whatever you want.

It always help to have a good cry. It helps you feel alot better, trust me. If you are around supportive friends it is even better because then they can help you feel ever better. Hope you feel better as soon as possible!
It does. When you have a need to cry, just let it out. If you keep in all it in, I SWEAR YOU'LL EXPLODE!!!!!!!!
sure, why not. Anyone who says otherwise is probably just a closet cryer.
Yes of course!
When you have a shoulder to cry on you will feel a lot better.
Of course. The emotions need to be released or they will stagnate inside.
Yes, it always does. Even if there is no one else to talk with you, if you can find someone you can cry with it will let your emotions out so that you can deal with them.
I had a downer week and today I just had to let everything out with my husband.he just listened and let me cry, I started feeling better almost immediately. The pressures and stresses are still there, but at least I could vent somehow. Sometimes its good to just cry with someone you know cares with you.
It depends on the reasons why you cry. If you cry because someone has abandoned you then no it does no good at all?
If you cry because something makes you sad, then yes, it could relieve some feelings but on the whole I never cry because to solve some problem you need to act, not procrastinate.
A lot of times I feel better after a good cry and a walk.
Yes..and have a long talk with your best friend, even if you are percieved as the "strong" one, sometimes even the strong folk need to let it out.
Yes,It cleanses the body and soul.Re leaves tension and cleans out the tear ducks.
i think so. I also like when someone else is there, that way I dont get too depressed.
A good cry always helps. Preferably not alone but with someone very close to you. If your feeling a bit down at the moment don't drown you sorrows as this will only make you feel worse. My advise would be to go and do a bit of retail therapy followed by a long hot bubble bath.
Chin up
All the best.
yes it helps alot but you must have a good reason otherwise you wll find that your crying all the time its good to get it out..

It is its carthtic. you are letting go of whatever is ailing you, so don't worry about it, be happy because you are letting go, so crying is both bad and good!
